Cushman & Wakefield had appointed George Voorhout, Gerard Simonis and Tom Custers as Partners. In their new roles, the three experienced professionals from Asset Services and Valuation & Advisory will contribute to the strategic direction and continued development of Cushman & Wakefield's Netherlands business.
George Voorhout has been associated with the Groot Handelsgebouw for more than 25 years. He is responsible for account management and strategic advice relating to this iconic Rotterdam property and plays a key role in its management and continued development. With his broad real estate expertise, commercial insight and ability to bring together diverse interests, he creates long-term value for clients.
Gerard Simonis has played a key role in Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory practice in the Netherlands for many years. As co-lead of valuation activities in the western Netherlands, he helps shape the firm’s services in the region and advises investors, developers, financial institutions and public and semi-public organisations on a wide range of real estate matters. His extensive market knowledge, strong network and ability to translate complex issues into clear advice make him a trusted adviser to clients.
Tom Custers has been part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services team for almost 20 years. As Team Lead, he oversees the delivery of services to a range of clients and manages complex real estate portfolios. With his analytical mindset, pragmatic approach and strong focus on collaboration, he translates the interests of clients and tenants into tangible results while contributing to the continued development of the team.
