Director of Brokerage • United States

About

Forrest Askew is a commercial real estate executive with more than 20 years of experience.  As Director of Brokerage for Cushman & Wakefield’s Orlando, Jacksonville, and Stuart offices, he leads brokerage operations with a focus on business growth, talent development, client service, and market strategy.  He is passionate about building strong teams and creating long-term value through relationships, strategy, and execution.

Previously, Forrest managed leasing strategy and portfolio performance across the Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay markets for Link Logistics, a Blackstone portfolio company, where the portfolio peaked at more than 23 million square feet during his tenure.  In that role, he was responsible for brokerage engagement, tenant negotiations, and portfolio positioning, involving more than $400M in transaction volume.  Earlier in his career, he built his foundation as a broker at Colliers and gained the occupier perspective through site selection, strategic growth, and portfolio planning at Walmart, Lidl, and TopBuild.

What sets Forrest apart is his experience across the brokerage, occupier, and institutional ownership sides of the business, a combined perspective he now brings to leading brokerage teams at Cushman & Wakefield.

Forrest holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida, is a licensed real estate professional in Florida, and serves on the Board of Directors of CREDA Central Florida (formerly NAIOP).
