About

Daniel Abbondandolo is an Executive Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets group, where he specializes in investment sales throughout Long Island and the greater Tri-State area. He advises private owners, family offices, and institutional clients on the disposition and capitalization of office, retail, mixed-use, and development assets, leveraging his deep contacts in a very nuanced Long Island market. Having extensive experience of what drives real estate investment, coupled with a very well-rounded understanding about Long Island zoning and entitlement, gives him the tools to advise on some of the most complex transactions. Dan and his team have become the true specialist in a market known for generalist brokerage.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Dan served as a Director at Massey Knakal Realty Services. Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal on December 31, 2014, and Dan has since played an integral role in the firm’s continued growth and investment sales platform across the region.

Earlier in his career, Dan was an EVP of business development at a regional title insurance company where he focused on commercial and residential acquisitions, refinances, along with representing dozens of institutional lenders on the settlement side of the transaction.

A Siena College graduate and captain of the Men’s D1 golf team — Dan pursued his dream as a professional golfer residing in Florida and competing on the mini tours and national Opens. He continues to compete at the highest amateur level in prestigious Metropolitan and national events. One of his true passions is the growth of the game and youth golf. He dedicates his time to several philanthropic organizations, most notably the Long Island Caddy Scholarship Foundation—an initiative he is particularly passionate about. Having grown up in the game through both caddying and competition, he is driven to help expand and grow the game for the next generation.

Dan resides in Huntington, New York with his wife Julianna and their two children, Siena and Quinn, where they enjoy golf, tennis, beach time, music, and being involved in the local community. The Abbondandolo’s are an active family in the St. Patrick’s school and parish, along with lifelong members of Brookville Country Club.
