CHARLOTTE, July 9, 2026—Cushman & Wakefield announced today that a top Charlotte office agency leasing team led by Charley Leavitt and Barry Fabyan has joined the firm, accompanied by Holden Brayboy and Kennedy Fertitta, Director and Senior Associate, respectively.

Executive Directors Leavitt and Fabyan will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s office agency leasing team in Charlotte, advising investors and developers on strategies to attract and retain the region’s most coveted occupiers. Additionally, they will collaborate with Cushman & Wakefield Investor Services’ colleagues locally and across the firm’s Americas’ platform to develop and strengthen relationships with key investor clients.

“Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to Charlotte and collaboration across major markets created a compelling opportunity for our team,” said Leavitt. “The firm’s history in the region combined with our deep industry relationships place us in an incredible position to drive value to our investor clients.”

Added Fabyan, “Charlotte’s office market is at an inflection point, with improving demand and net absorption, as well as incrementally rising rental rates. Cushman & Wakefield’s global Investor Services platform combined with our local expertise will allow us to implement real-time strategies on behalf of our clients and their assets.”

Leavitt, Fabyan, Brayboy and Fertitta join Cushman & Wakefield from Stream Realty Partners. Leavitt and Fabyan, who was an All-American golfer at Wake Forest, began their commercial real estate careers with The Bissell Cos. in Charlotte and have been involved with office leasing transactions valued at more than $4 billion in the Carolinas as well as ground-up office development totaling more than 5 million square feet.

“Charley, Barry, Holden and Kennedy are ideal fits for our Charlotte office from both a business-development and culture perspective,” said Chad Love, Cushman & Wakefield Carolinas Managing Principal. “Their pairing complements our market-leading property management group and will yield holistic and unrivaled client services as we continue to build market share.”

Added Tom McDonnell, Cushman & Wakefield Executive Regional Director and head of the firm’s Americas office agency leasing business, “Across the Americas, we are recruiting industry leading brokers to our Investor Services business, and Charley and Barry’s team exemplifies that effort. They are collaborative leaders who will continue to position Cushman & Wakefield as the top choice for office investors seeking creative, tailored solutions for both existing properties and new development, whether that’s a single asset or portfolio.”

As for the Queen City and surrounding region, the Charlotte Metro economy continues to surge, driven by significant labor growth in office-using jobs and capital investment announcements. Among the 104 U.S. metros tracked by Cushman & Wakefield, Charlotte ranked first in job growth, adding 39,200 positions, a 2.8% increase year-over-year, with the financial services sector leading the way. According to Cushman & Wakefield Charlotte office research, leasing will remain elevated as Charlotte continues to attract out-of-market tenants and established tenants expand office footprints.

“Charlotte and the Carolinas are the Sunbelt prototype, offering strong growth, exceptional quality of life and a business-friendly environment,” said Ryan Miller, Cushman & Wakefield Executive Regional Director for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. “With this industry-leading team, we’re poised to capitalize on the macro trends driving growth across the region – particularly those fueling office-using jobs in this financial-services and professional-services hub city.”
