About
Michael Carson leads Supply Chain & Logistics Advisory across EMEA and APAC from Cushman & Wakefield's Edinburgh office. His career spans supply chain operations, management consulting and real estate advisory. Having spent much of his career designing and operating supply chains, he brings an operator’s perspective to decisions about networks, locations and logistics real estate.
That experience helps him bridge the gap between operations and real estate. Michael works with clients across the end-to-end supply chain, from distribution through to manufacturing, to ensure real estate decisions support the needs of the business, rather than the other way around.
His approach is grounded in analysis, built on network modelling and data to evaluate options and challenge assumptions. Equally important is translating those findings into practical advice. Micheal helps clients understand not only what the numbers say, but what they mean for the decisions ahead.

How Michael Works
He connects operations to real estate. Michael helps clients ensure logistics and property decisions work together to underpin business strategy.
He challenges assumptions with data. When the analysis points in an unexpected direction, Michael uses data and experience to test the result before drawing conclusions.
Michael focuses on what the numbers mean. For Michael, the numbers are only the starting point. His role is helping clients understand what the results mean and how they should influence the decision ahead.
