As Head of People Partnering for India, South-East Asia, Middle East & Africa, Ronita Majumdar Basu leads the people strategy across the firm’s most dynamic and fast-growing markets. In this role, Ronita is responsible for shaping and executing talent priorities that are closely aligned with the organization’s long‑term growth agenda. She plays an instrumental role in strengthening the firm’s culture, fostering leadership capability, and building a future‑ready workforce across geographies and asset classes.

With over 19 years of diverse HR leadership experience, Ronita brings deep expertise in partnering with global and Indian organizations to design and deploy people strategies that enable business transformation. Her professional journey spans leading brands such as JLL, Citibank, GE Capital, and HT Media. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Global People Partner at JLL Business Services, where she drove people strategy across multiple international markets and built scalable, globally aligned HR frameworks that balanced local context with enterprise needs.

Ronita’s experience covers a wide spectrum of HR disciplines including organization design, business restructuring, change management, talent and leadership development, recruitment, employee relations, and total rewards. Known for her strong business acumen and people-centric approach, she has consistently worked alongside senior leaders to build high-performing, inclusive, and future-focused organizations.
